Both eHarmony and PerfectMatch Hold Free Communication Weekends

(onlinedatingmagazine.com - May 23, 2008) Two major online dating services,, eHarmony and PerfectMatch.com are both allowing members to communicate for free over this four-day holiday weekend. eHarmony has been doing free communication weekends for several years, while this is the first time PerfectMatch.com has tried the promotion.

PerfectMatch.com is calling their event "Free Search and Communication Weekend."

According to the service, "From May 22 through Monday, May 26, communicate with your 'Perfect Matches' AND, separately, respond to anyone who has sent you an email, currently in your inbox."

Concurrently, PerfectMatch is also offering a sign up for two months and get two months free promotion and a $76 off three months promotion.

eHarmony has been doing Free Communication Weekends for awhile, however they've been criticized for not allowing those participating to see photos. eHarmony's free communication weekend allows users to go through the matching process and communication process, but disables the ability for you to see the other person's photo or to "fasttrack" communication.

Concurrently, eHarmony is also offering 20% off a six month membership.
